What is DERMAQUEST Pumpkin Scrub?
DERMAQUEST Pumpkin Scrub is a breakthrough enzyme-chemical peeling for problem skin, with recurrent acne problems, seborrhea, enlarged pores and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The treatment is also recommended for mature skin with signs of photoaging.
Unheard of so far in preparations, pumpkin extract was appreciated by American scientists. It is rich in vitamin C (10%), B1, B2, B6, PP and K. It is perfect for therapy supporting the treatment of active acne, hyperpigmentation and skin aging. Pumpkin extract accounting for 40%. The recipe is rich in beta-carotene, or provitamin A. The new treatment procedure is enriched with a concentrate of pure retinol in a concentration of 4%. Both retinol and beta-carotene in high concentrations are transformed in the skin into retinoic acid, which acts directly on individual cells in the skin. Regulates the work of the sebaceous glands by reducing seborrhea, the formation of comedones, pustules and inflammatory lesions. Active vitamin A is also responsible for the proliferation of new collagen and elastin fibers, which is why it is widely used in slimming treatments. The composition of the scrub also includes glycolic (10%), lactic (10%) and salicylic (5%) acids. In order to reduce papulo-comedematous lesions and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, the treatment is enhanced by strong tyrosinase inhibitors, such as azelaic acid (10%) and kojic acid (5%).
An innovative solution is the use of probiotics in the form of proteolytic enzymes obtained in the process of organic decomposition of pumpkin. Probiotics prevent the proliferation of harmful bacteria, thereby reducing and eliminating the risk of infections and skin problems. How is the DERMAQUEST pumpkin peeling done?
The treatment begins with cleansing the skin with an oil rich in vitamins E and A, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil and ubiquinone. Then the GlycoGel Cleanser gel with glycolic acid, lactic acid and aloe leaf extract is used.
After cleansing, the skin is wiped with Dermaclear Pads soaked in salicylic acid, glycolic acid and tea oil. Then the Power Pumpkin Resurfacer scrub rich in pumpkin extract and a mixture of acids is applied. After washing off, the skin is neutralized with Neutralizing Solution. The next step is the application of MelaQuest Solution, which has an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and brightening effect, based on azaleic and almond acids, papain, bromelain and tea tree oil. Then the cosmetologist applies a serum with 4% retinol.
The treatment ends with the application of Essential B5 Hydrating Serum with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, provitamin B5 and plant stem cells. Melaquest Correct Cream is applied to the serum with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid and SheerZinc filter cream.
