LED light therapy | Warsaw. Wrinkle reduction, acne treatment, lightening lesions.

The treatment consists in irradiating a given area (usually the face or scalp, but also other parts of the body) with light emitted by LEDs developed for this purpose (from the English: Light Emitting Diode). In LED therapy, different colors and wavelengths of light with therapeutic properties are used. Lamps do not heat tissues (they produce only gentle pleasant heat) and do not emit harmful UV radiation.

The therapeutic effect of LED light depends on the parameters of the device that the cosmetology salon uses.

• Violet light
  
  1. It acts at the level of the epidermis (wavelength 415 nm). It is a combination of red and blue light. It effectively relieves acne and inflammation and has an anti-wrinkle effect.

• Blue light
  
  1. It acts at the level of the epidermis (wavelength 470 nm). It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, due to which it effectively treats acne, herpes and psoriasis.

• Yellow light
  
  1. It works at the level of the epidermis, but already reaches the dermis (wavelength 590 nm). The effect of its action is skin revitalization — it shows anti-aging properties, reduces erythema and photodamage (including dryness and loss of skin firmness, solar keratosis).

• Orange light
  
  1. Also acts on the level of both the epidermis and the dermis (wavelength 590 nm and 630 nm). It improves circulation and stimulates the growth of cellular metabolism. It effectively counteracts wrinkles, and also reduces erythema, relieves irritation and inflammation.

• Red light
  
  1. It works at the level of the epidermis and dermis (wavelength 630 nm). Red LED light therapy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin — rejuvenates the skin (anti-aging), relieves irritation and firms (reduces cellulite and stretch marks).

• IR infrared
  
  1. It acts at the level of the epidermis, dermis and deeper structures (wavelength 850 nm). It accelerates the healing of wounds, bruises and scars, supports regeneration, reduces inflammation, removes toxins from the body, improves blood circulation and increases cellular metabolism. It can be helpful in relieving swelling and pain (local and extensive), especially in muscles or joints.
