The device emits a narrow-band, pulsed, light source in the range of 500-600 nm. The wavelength of Dye-VL acts selectively, targeting hemoglobin and melanin.
The main effect of the procedure is the alignment and improvement of skin tone and reduction of vascular changes. An additional advantage of the procedure is the contraction of collagen fibers, which results in an improvement in the firmness of the skin. Compared to other IPL devices, DYE-VL is much safer and virtually painless due to its precise wavelength.
